DO YOU HIRE OUT FURNITURE OR PROPS?
We have a sweet collection of props and decor suitable for small displays and centerpieces that are available for hire or complimentary when our styling services are booked! We regularly update and add to our decor so please contact us to request the current inventory.
We don’t do tables, chairs and big things, but we do know all the best places to source the perfect pieces for your theme and ‘look’. We can suggest affordable alternatives, negotiate for you and pass on relevant discounts, as well as coordinate the delivery and set up on the big day.
MY VENUE ALREADY HAS A PLANNER/COORDINATOR, DO I REALLY NEED A STYLIST OR COORDINATOR?
Many venues have a planner or function coordinator, which is super great but keep in mind that their first responsibility will be to the venue and not so much the bits that need to be done externally – like sourcing, theming, liasing and confirming with outside parties and suppliers. In short, a venue coordinator works for the needs of the venue, acting out the requirements of your contract in a smooth and timely manner. As your stylist we work for you, ensuring every detail of your day is flawless and orchestrated exactly as you’ve planned.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR AN INITIAL CONSULTATION?
As if!! We like to take this time to get to know you & ensure that we’re the best fit for your needs. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable trusting us to tend to the details on your big day!
HOW MUCH COMMUNICATION WILL WE HAVE?
As much or as little you wish. You can email, call or text as often as you need, we’re always ready to chat wedding wonderfulness with you!
DO YOU CHARGE AN HOURLY RATE OR FLAT RATE?
Our styling services are very flexible and are tailored to suit the needs of each of our clients and how much of a role they require us to have on their wedding date. Our fees are calculated after our initial consultation and do not change during the planning process.
WE’RE INTERESTED, WHERE DO WE START?
We start by having a chat over the phone or in person, there is usually coffee or a glass of wine. We discuss your ideas, needs, wants and must haves and then create a quote for you based on this information. You can take as much time as you need to decide if you are happy with our wedding wing-man proposal.
